Lorraine F. WeisterLorraine F. Weister, 91, Marshfield, died with family by her side on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Bethel Center, Arpin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 12, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John’s Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Lorraine was born on March 16, 1922 in Marshfield to Michael and Rose (Michalski) Bartl and attended St. John’s Parochial School. She was united in marriage to Robert F. Weister on January 3, 1942 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on December 22, 1999. Before her marriage Lorraine had been employed at various businesses in Marshfield. After her marriage she enjoyed cooking, baking and kept the house comfortable. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She is survived by 3 daughters and a son, Beverly (Dave) Hupe, Carol Sinn, Shirley Weister and Paul Weister, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Renee (Scott) Haupt, Michelle (Steve) Putnam and Ashley (fiancé – Keith Miller) Weister, and 4 great grandchildren, Amber and Hilary Putnam and Ciara and Zachary Haupt. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a sister, Valerie Vance and 2 brothers, LeRoy Bartl and Raymond Bartl. Memorials may be designated in her name to the Marshfield Area Respite Care Center. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Center for the compassionate care they provided to Lorraine. “Thank you for being a wonderful mom and for teaching us how to live by your daily examples of love, kindness, honesty and hard work. Maureen M. HoldenMaureen M. Holden, 78, Marshfield, died on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville with Rev. Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joachim Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Joachim Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time. Maureen was born a child of God and daughter of Merton and Clara (Hummel) Morgan on October 31, 1934 in Adams County. And was a graduate of Adams Friendship High School. She was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Holden on October 5, 1955 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Adams Friendship. He died on April 20, 1992. Maureen worked as a certified nursing assistant for the Department of Aging. She also volunteered for many years at the Marshfield Area Respite Center where she was honored as volunteer of the year. She attended art classes at Mid-State Technical College, Marshfield, and was a wonderful artist. She enjoyed painting, flowers arranging and crafts. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by a daughter and 2 sons, Sandy (John) LaBarge of Wisconsin Rapids, DuWayne (Holly) Holden of Eleveth, MN, and Brian Holden of Rozellville. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She is further survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Fred (Elaine) Morgan, Lola (Harold) Wilson and Nancy (David) Marsh, all of Wisconsin Rapids, and Daniel (Marilyn) Morgan of Wisconsin Dells. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John’s Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Ruth was born on May 20, 1913 in Marshfield to Charles and Margaret (Vogel) Leibelt and attended Timlin Country School. On October 27, 1931 she was united in marriage to Maurice H. Behrens. He died on December 9, 2004. Ruth was employed at Engelbrecht Cleaners in Marshfield for many years. She was also an accomplished seamstress, cook and baker. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She also volunteered at St. John’s School library. She is survived by her sons, Peter W. (Jane) Behrens of Marshfield, Terrance Behrens of Menomonee Falls, and Michael J. (Martha) Behrens of Plover, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Behrens of Menomonee Falls, wife of Daniel who died on December 28, 2012. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Steven, David, Elizabeth, Christopher, Kevin, Matthew, Joseph, and Jacob, and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Memorials may be designated in her name to House of the Dove, Marshfield. Jack R. HansenJack R. Hansen, 83, Marshfield, entered eternal life on Monday, July 15, 2013 in the emergency room of Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Friday from 1:00 pm until service time at St. John’s Catholic Church. Jack was born on July 17, 1929 in Marshfield, the son of Tony and Doris (Reeths) Hansen and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Bonnie L. Foltz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. As a young man, Jack was employed for the City of Marshfield and the Marshfield Fire Department. He then was employed as a welder at Felker Brothers Manufacturing until his retirement. Jack had served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his later years he preferred to watch and care for animals instead of hunting them. He loved the old west and enjoyed collecting antique guns and knives. Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie, 3 children and 2 grandchildren, Shane (Elisa) Hansen, and their children, Jessie and Brianna; and Tammie (Ron) Feit, all of Marshfield, and Beau (Hallie) Hansen of St. Paul, MN. Arnold E. SteinesArnold E. Steines, 93, Marshfield, died on Monday, July 15, 2013 at House of the Dove, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church with Rev. James Logan officiating. Burial will take place in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Rozellville, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren, Zachary, Gabriel, and Rudy Janke, Cody Steines, Karl Berkemeier and Renee Steines Habeh. The visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 am until service time at St. John’s Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Arnold was born on December 7, 1919 in the Town of Cleveland to Joseph and Josephine (Ulwelling) Steines. He attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School, Stratford and was a graduate of Stratford High School. He married Bernadine E. Hennes on August 11, 1941 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Rozellville. She died on June 30, 2004. Arnie was employed at the Stratford Post Office and Mosinee Paper Mill before entering the United States Army Air Forces in October of 1943. He served 30 months in the Air Transport command in North Africa during World War II. After his honorable discharge he worked as post office clerk and rural letter carrier in Stratford until retiring in November of 1980 with over 40 years of government service. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Knights of Columbus John Eisen Council #1799, and the American Legion Post 54. He spent 10 years playing semi pro baseball with Stratford, Mosinee, Owen and Loyal clubs. In 1943, Arnie pitched a perfect no-hit, no-run, no-walk, no-error game for the Halder Club. While serving in North Africa, Arnie pitched baseball for Casablanca Air Trancos, taking the championship of the Casablanca All Service League and the North Africa Division. Arnold is survived by 9 children, Ardell (Elaine) Steines of Mosinee, Berna Jo (Danne) Mellenthin of Colby, Philip (Nadine) Steines of Spring Valley, IL, Noreen (Joseph) Holthaus of Alexandria, VA, Mary Rose (Tom Berkemeier) Steines of Jackson, MI, Geriann (Tom) Stanley of Rockville, MD, Jolene (Steven) Janke of Humbird, Nick (Kendra) Steines of International Falls, MN and Ted (Julie) Steines of Auburndale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Sebastian Venni officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Friday from 9:30 am until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A combined Sacred Heart Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary service will be held on Thursday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Walter was born on May 18, 1928 in Bakerville to John and Catherine (Panske) Jonas. He attended St. Mary’s Parochial School in Bakerville. He was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard from 1947 until 1956 serving in Battery C of the 120th Field Infantry Battalion where he was Chief of Section Sergeant 1st Class. He was united in marriage to Doris L. Rau on October 11, 1951 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Wally had been employed at Hub City Foods for 40 years until his retirement in 1993 and was a proud member and former steward of the Teamster Union. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus John Eisen Council #1799 and “Hub City Coffee Club”. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed bird watching, gardening, traveling, and camping. He was a good dad and grandpa and much loved by his family. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Doris and their children, Randy Jonas of Appleton, Ken (Marcy) Jonas of Spooner, Chuck (Lynn) Jonas of Madison, Bonnie (Jeff Carlson) Hollinder of Edina, MN, Debbie (Matt) MacKenzie of Ashland, Sandi (Mark) Sloan of Dillon, MT, and Kevin Jonas of Pittsville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Brandon (Leah) Hollinder, Rebekah, Heather Daniel, and Sarah Jonas, Greg, Jenny, and Shauna MacKenzie, Nikki (Cole) Cottom, Hunter Johnson, and Carrie (Eliseo) Ramirez, and a great granddaughter, Sophia Hollinder. He is further survived by a sister, Marie Trulen of Medford. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine, and brothers, John Jonas, Jr., Lawrence Jonas, and Joe Jonas, and a sister, Loretta Schultz. Terry D. ColeTerry D. Cole, 72, Marshfield, died on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the House of the Dove, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Dr. Kevin Buchanan officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Rembs Funeral Home on Monday from 9:30 am until service time. Terry was born on February 20, 1941 in Marshfield, the first child of Mabel (Rayhorn) and Forrest Cole. During his childhood he had an exceptional interest in electrical equipment, especially radios and could repair almost anything electrical. He graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1959. He worked in the family business, Cole’s Music Store while in high school and then worked full time for his mother, Mabel, when his father died in 1963. The music store was then located at 554 South Central Avenue. In 1975 Terry bought the business from his mother and became sole proprietor. In 1980 the store moved 2 blocks north to 413 South Central Avenue. To make way for a theater complex it was moved again in 1996 to 148 South Central where it remained until closing in January 2013. As the music industry became more specialized, Terry became a guitar specialist, both electric and acoustic. He applied his interest in electronics to amplifiers, sound systems, repairing electronic organs and pipe organs and rebuilding neumatic systems for player pianos, tuning pianos and generally fixed anything that came into the store. In 2003 the Marshfield News Herald published an article “Mr. Fixit” in which Terry was featured. Terry was known for his generosity, donating his professional expertise to the First Presbyterian Church for many years in memory of his mother, piano tuning for the Palm Sunday Concerts in Marshfield for many years and other special events in the community. His love of the north found him on Lake Nokomis at the “Cole Bin”, the family cottage almost every weekend from early spring to late fall. Terry is survived by a brother, Mark of Marshfield and a sister, Carla (Rowland) Stebbins of Stonington, CT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. George L. BloczynskiGeorge LeRoy Bloczynski, 87, resident of The Aster, died peacefully in The House of the Dove on July 17th, 2013. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Sabastian Venni officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery where military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #54 of Marshfield. The Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday, July 23rd at Rembs Funeral Home and again from 10am Wednesday until service time at the church. There will be a combined parish and Knights of Columbus Rosary service at 6:30pm Tuesday at Rembs Funeral Home. George was born on September 28, 1925 in Marshfield to John A. and Rose (Drewek) Bloczynski. He lived until May of this year at his home on West 4th Street, a little more than a block from the house where he and his nine brothers and sisters were raised. He worked first as an engineer and foreman for the Weyhaeuser Company, and then sold plumbing supplies for Central State Supply in Marshfield. He attended Sacred Heart Parochial School and Marshfield Senior High until he was drafted during WWII. In recent years he shared stories of his service, in the Pacific Theater with the US Marine Corps, and was on Iwo Jima when the flag was raised on Mount Suribachi. He is included in the Wisconsin Public TV documentary series, Wisconsin WWII Stories, and in the veteran’s display of The Thomas House History Center. In November of 2012, VFW Post 1866 of Marshfield named him Marshfield's Veteran of the Year. George was united in marriage to Clara J. Peter on October 30, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps. George is survived by his wife, Clara, his daughter, Christine (James) Merrill of Watertown, grandsons James and Sean Merrill both of Madison; two sisters Mary Ann (Gordon) Moore of Richland Center, and Joan Knauf of Eau Claire; sisters-in-law Madeline Bloczynski of Marshfield and Pat (Glen) Boson of Marshfield; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers Sylvester, Raymond, Lawrence, Laverne, John and Thomas, and his sister, Leona Weis. George will be remembered as a faithful member of Sacred Heart, an avid sportsman, a poet, and a man of wit and intelligence with a will of iron. Marie M. CherneyMarie M. Cherney, 91 of Auburndale died on Thursday evening, July 18, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Memorials services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Schneider officiating. Family will receive relatives and friends from 5 p.m. Sunday until time of services at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Marie was born on June 14, 1922 in Stevens Point to John and Magdeline (Schultz) Bobrowski. She was united in marriage to Raymond J. Cherney on October 31, 1941 in Junction City. Ray died on August 26, 1991. After their marriage, they farmed in the Auburndale area and owned Ray’s Cabinet and Supply in Milladore. She worked with her husband as a bookkeeper for their cabinet shop. In 1970, they moved to Ash Flat, Arkansas, where they enjoyed their retirement; traveling, square dancing and making frequent trips to visit family and friends. With the death of her husband in 1991, she returned to Auburndale area to live near her family. Marie enjoyed playing bingo, cards and also played in a polka band with Ray in her earlier years. She is survived by two children, June Larson-Cherney of Pornichet, France and Donald (Sheila) Cherney of Auburndale, two grandchildren, Samantha Cherney of Minneapolis and Jacob Cherney of Madison. Margarette was born on September 18, 1946 in Wisconsin Rapids to Howard and Cora Nelson. She married Nick Kleifgen in December of 1967 and they later divorced. Marge was employed at the Marshfield Clinic for 25 years as a medical assistant. She enjoyed volunteering for Soup or Socks food pantry in Marshfield. She is survived by 3 children, Nicholas “Jim” Kleifgen of Pittsville, Keri (Noah) Moore of Pittsville and Chad (Kristin) Kleifgen of Tomah. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Shyanne, Tyler, Makenzie, Damien, Savanna and Brody. She is further survived by a brother, Howard Nelson of Port Edwards, a nephew, Paul Nelson, a niece, Nicole Malsch, a great nephew, Markus Gudel and 2 great nieces, Kayla and Ashley Malsch. Douglas T. O'DonnellDouglas T. O’Donnell, 86, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Palliative Care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield with Rev. Eric Berns officiating. The Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly will form a guard of honor at the church. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Friday from 10:00 am until service time at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. A Knights of Columbus rosary service will be held on Thursday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Douglas was born on June 28, 1927 in Clark County to Lester and Violet (Madler) O’Donnell and was raised by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Rose (Schmitz) Madler in the Chili area. He was a graduate of Granton High School and also attended technical school in Chicago. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He married Mary E. McKenna on August 22, 1951 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. She died on July 22, 2006. Doug began working as an architectural draftsman in the state of Wisconsin for Gus Krasin Architect and then worked as Marshfield office manager for Don Hougen Architect. From 1992 until the present owned and operated O’Donnell Engineering Associates. He mentored many architectural and engineering students and professionals and taught blue print reading at Mid State Technical College. He designed many churches including Our Lady of Peace and many movie theaters, C.B.R.F.’s and commercial buildings. In 1972 he began O’Donnell Locksmithing as a hobby. Doug was a member of the Knights of Columbus John Eisen Council #1799, the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly, the American Legion Post 54 of which he served as commander, and the 40 et 8. He had served as an alderman in the fourth ward for the City of Marshfield, the Board of Review in Marshfield, and the State of Wisconsin Registration Board for Architects and Engineers. He is survived by 8 children and 5 grandchildren, Patrick of Marshfield, Colleen of Minocqua, Sharon of Marshfield, Lisa (Elroy) Rogers and their children Andrea and Emily of Marshall, MN, Michael (Connie) and their children, Elizabeth and Douglas of O’Fallon, IL, Daniel of Marshfield, Kevin of Palatine, IL, and Shawn (Stacy) and their son, Cody of Chili. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Ellen Stevens of Carthage, Texas. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife. Alberta M. BurtAlberta M. Burt, 79 of Marshfield died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with Rev. Mark A. Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the town of Richfield, Wood County. Visitations will be from 10am Monday until time of services at the Rembs Funeral Home. Alberta was born on June 16, 1934 in Marshfield to Adolph and Viola (Seefeldt) Wein. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1952. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Burt at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield and sadly he died on January 1, 1984. She was a homemaker for most of her life until the passing of her husband. She then worked at various businesses throughout Marshfield and most recently at the Target Store. She had a love for music and also gave accordion lessons to several students in Marshfield. Alberta sang in the First Presbyterian Church Choir. She was a current member of Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Alberta is survived by her children, Larry (Judy) Burt of Marshfield, Sandra Burt of Fayetteville, NC, Susan (James) Hill of Shakopee, MN and Richard (Debra) Burt of Dover, FL; six grandchildren, Brandon, Kelly, Matthew and David Burt and Arin and Allyssa Hill. Randall R. PierceRandall Ray “Sambo” Pierce, 51, Pittsville, died early Saturday morning, July 27, 2013 at his home. The family will receive relatives and friends at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A private family memorial service will be held on Tuesday. Randy was born on August 5, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Clarence and Geraldine (Crabb) Pierce and was a 1979 graduate of Lincoln High School. He married Sarah Wolfe in 1992 and they later divorced. He married Laurie Sloan on March 28, 2013 in Wisconsin Rapids. Randy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge he worked as a cook at Wranglers and at the Mead Inn, both in Wisconsin Rapids. He also worked as a roofer in Wisconsin Rapids and Colorado, and on a pipeline in Oklahoma. For the past 13 years he was employed at Pittsville Meats. Randy was in a pool league in Pittsville and enjoyed Karaoke, bike riding, and Frisbee. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Laurie, 2 children, Connor and Kayla Pierce, all of Pittsville, 2 stepchildren, Stacy (Daniel) Draves of Baraboo and Carol Sloan of Pittsville and 3 step grandchildren, Keegan, Keira and Allison. He is also survived by his mother, Geraldine Pierce of Wisconsin Rapids, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, Geraldine Schunke of Pittsville, Lawrence Pierce of Milwaukee, Jeff Pierce of Dubuque, IA, Tom (Stephanie) Pierce, Mike (Holly) Pierce, Pam (Scott) Dieringer, and Dennis (Shana Brey) Pierce, all of Wisconsin Rapids. He is further survived by 13 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in 2008. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are appreciated. James MildenbergerJames Mildenberger, 81, Marshfield, died on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Palliative Care, Marshfield. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. James was born on May 28, 1932 in Chicago, IL to William and Mary (Mossley) Mildenberger. He married Joan E. Barfell in August of 1973 in Illinois. Jim was employed at Chicago Cash Registry and Chicago Railroad. After his retirement in 1986 the Mildenberger’s moved to Wisconsin where they resided in Alma Center and in 1994 moved to Neillsville and then in 2000 to Marshfield. Jim was a happy man, a devoted husband and father and enjoyed westerns and animals. He is survived by his wife, Joan and children, James (Sarah) Sowka of IL, Linda (Gary) Brown of AZ, George (Pam) Mildenberger, Frank (Diane) Mildenberger, and Christine Mildenberger, all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is further survived by his twin brother, George Mildenberger, and a sister, Roseanne Hanna, both of Kentucky. Helen C. Leitner Helen C. Leitner, 92, Marshfield, died on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, in Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Sebastian Venni and Rev. Peter Manickam will officiate and music will be provided by Sacred Heart Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 am until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Helen was born on October 14, 1920 in Marshfield to Frank and Elizabeth (Schloske) Leitner and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She had been a housekeeper for Father Raymond Bornbach for 53 years. She also was employed for a few years at the Marshfield Clinic Lab. She is survived by nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Dolores Leitner. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 11 brothers and sisters. Thank you so much to the Well’s staff. You were Helen’s second family. Also thank you to her Sacred Heart Church friends. Helen really treasured you all. Also a very special thank you to Pat Morrison, Chris Wiskerchen, and Elaine and Deb from Well’s Nature View. The time you spent helping Helen through her most difficult time was greatly appreciated. Jerald A. SchaeferJerald A. Schaefer, 72 died on Thursday evening, August 1, 2013 at Brown’s Maple Inn in Arpin. Funeral services will be 7:30pm Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Rozellville. Visitations will be from 5pm Tuesday, August 6th until time of service at Rembs Funeral Home. Jerald was born on October 15, 1940 in Marshfield to Leander and Sylvia (Pauli) Schaefer. He attended St. Andrew’s Parochial School in Rozellville and after he graduated he worked on the family farm until 1969 when the farm sold. He then worked as a farm hand until 1989 when he had a stroke. He was never married and is survived by his sisters, Diane Schneider of Marshfield, Joan Schneider of Wisconsin Rapids and Carol (Jim) Eberhardy of Mosinee and a brother Lee Schaefer of Marshfield. Madelyn J. WeberMadelyn J. Weber, 99 of Stratford died on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Marshfield Care Center. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Thursday, August 8, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratford with Fr. John Robert Alphonse officiating. St. Joseph’s Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Webertown. Family will receive relatives and friends from 10am Thursday at the church until service time. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford is assisting the family. Madelyn was born on November 20, 1913 to Lawrence and Jennie (Hughes) Weber in Stratford. She graduated from Stratford High School and spent her career at Allington & Van Ryzen’s until her retirement. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and spending many vacations driving throughout the United States. She is survived by two sisters Constance Schroepfer of Marshfield and Mary Jane "Mae" Beining of Rozellville along with many nieces and nephews.
