Anton M. "Tony" LukenAnton M. “Tony” Luken, 91 of Pittsville died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Bethel Center in Arpin. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pittsville with Rev. Doug A. Schalow officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the church following the services by the American Legion Post # 153 of Pittsville. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in the town of Hansen, Wood County at a later date. Visitations will be from 9:30am until time of services on Saturday at the church. Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Tony was born on December 8, 1921 in Wanne-Eickel, Germany to John and Maria (Dolata) Luken. He attended school in Wanne -Eickel in Germany. Prior to moving to Chicago from Germany, he was an apprentice at a bakery. He came with his mother to America, celebrating his first birthday on the ship S.S. Republic. His father had previously came to America to a farm in South Dakota. Because of the terrible dry soil conditions, they moved to Chicago. Tony went back to Germany by himself for a visit, celebrating his 8th birthday on the ship S.S. Berlin. The stock markets soon crashed, leaving his parents with no way to finance his return trip. Tony remained in Germany for the next 8 years, living with relatives. Finally, with the help of a banker, his mother worked for, she returned to Germany to bring him back to America. He celebrated his 16th birthday on the ship S.S. Washington. Tony served in the United States Navy during World War II from June 26, 1944 aboard the USS Nelson Dingley as an armed guard. He then went to Camp Shoemaker in California and then to San Francisco where he was sworn in as a US citizen. He was honorably discharged in May 18, 1946. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Horn on November 16, 1946 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pittsville. They farmed for a few years in the Town of Wood until he was employed at B & B Equipment in Wisconsin Rapids as a mechanic. After his retirement, Tony and Dorothy ran Dot’s Upholstery from 1980-1996. In 2008 after living for 62 years on the farm, they moved to Woodco Apartments in Pittsville. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #513 of Pittsville. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, children Judy Schlottman of Boyceville, Ann (Alan) Anderson of Shoreview, MN and Tony (Marti) Luken of Lucas, TX; 3 grandchildren, Susan (Tom) Hakanson, Vicky (Bill) Spaeth and Jason (Tammy) Schlottman; 5 great grandchildren, Brandon & Dylan Hakanson, Kaylin & Kimberly Spaeth and Kyle Schlottman. Dorothy Helen Scott WolfeHelen Scott Wolfe, 98 of Arpin died peacefully on Thursday morning, February 7, 2013 at the Bethel Center with her daughter at her side. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshfield. Helen was born on June 29, 1914 in Marion, KY to Marvin and Grace (Custar) Scott. She graduated from Greeley, CO High School in 1932 and attended college for a year. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Wolfe on January 20, 1935 in Greeley, CO. He died on August 17, 1987. She played piano and loved to sing in various choirs including the Palm Sunday Chorus in Marshfield. A lifelong Presbyterian, Sunday School teacher in Greeley and a deacon and elder in LaSalle, CO, Clovis, NM and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Arpin. While living in Greeley, she participated in numerous civic organizations. In 1991, she moved from Clovis, NM to Arpin to be near her daughter, Rev. Janet Wolfe. Besides her daughter Rev. Janet Wolfe of Marshfield, she is survived by a son Charles M. (Jane Mumbua-Malobi) Wolfe of Lewisville, TX and her daughter-in-law Joanne Wolfe of Flower Mound, TX; two granddaughters, Cheryl Hedges (f iancee Jason Tally) Lewisville, TX and Karen Bishop of Flower Mound, TX. She is further survived by four great grandchildren, Zane Hedges, Javin Tally, Ben and Chloe Bishop. Stephen SteffekStephen Steffek, 97 of Arpin, died on Thursday morning, February 7, 2013 at the Bethel Center in Arpin. Memorial services will be 11am Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pittsville with Pastor Doug A. Schalow officiating. Family will receive relative and friends at the church on Monday from 10am until time of services. Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home in Pittsville is assisting the family with the arrangements. Stephen was born on December 23, 1915 in Cook County, IL to Michael and Lucia (Vicena) Steffek. He attended the town of Rock Schools in Wood County. He was united in marriage to Dorothy G. Feldt on June 3, 1944 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Woodstock, IL, returning to the town of Richfield, Wood County in 1948 where they farmed for 40 years. They retired in 1988 and both have been residents at the Bethel Center since July 2011. He is survived by his wife Dorothy at the Bethel Center, children Berneice (William) Herzberg of Black River Falls and Wally (Julie) Steffek of Arpin; three grandsons Tracy (Marti) Herzberg of Black River Falls, Troy (Liz) Herzberg of Melrose and their children, Zachary, Emily and Eric; Cory (Catherine) Steffek of Houston, TX and their daughter Olivia. Dorothy M. DahlkeDorothy M. Dahlke, 83, Edgar, died on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital with family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgar, with Rev. Robert Streveler officiating. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am until service time At St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgar. Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford is assisting the family. Dorothy was born on October 7, 1929 in Wing, Illinois to Samuel and Adeline (Heald) Wells. She married Raymond J. Bender on November 30, 1945. They farmed at Fairbury, IL and then moved their family to Edgar, Wisconsin where they ran a dairy farm and raised their 4 children until Raymond died in 1974. Dorothy then moved to Wausau and eventually went to work as a unit clerk for Wausau Hospital South. She worked on the OB unit for many years until her retirement from Aspirus. She married Alex J. “Curly” Dahlke in 1980 in Wuertzburg. She became mother and friend to Alex’s 8 children. Family was most important to her and she enjoyed making quilts for each new addition to the family. She enjoyed being with family, gardening and canning, playing cards, fishing and going to casinos with her family and friends. Dorothy is survived by children Raymond (Fran) Bender of Kronenwetter, Sharon Bender of Edgar, Wayne (Karen) Bender of Little Suamico, Lynda (Robert) Kraemer of Plymouth, Jerome (Janet) Dahlke of Edgar, Glen (LouAnn) Dahlke of Kronenwetter, Michael (Lynn) Dahlke of Edgar, Carol (Georgia) Dahlke of Gilbert, AZ, Veronica (Gregg) Meyer of Mauston, Gayle (Steve) Krelwitz of Ixonia, Alex (Lisa) Dahlke, Jr. and Greg Dahlke, all of Weston, 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, James Wells and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Wells, Bernice Bender, Mae Arnold, Florence Rinkenberger and Alice Teubel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 4 brothers, Kenneth, Jack, Howard and Lloyd Wells and 3 sisters, Lola Wells, Bernice Kyburz and Jessie Putnam. Ronald A. EckesRonald A. Eckes, 72, Marshfield, died on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday at the funeral home from 9:00 am until service time. Ronald was born on July 26, 1940 in Deer Creek Township, Taylor County to Andrew and Helen (Kohlbeck) Eckes. He was a 1958 graduate of Loyal High School. He married the love of his life, Pearl O. Moen on January 9, 1960 and they were married for 53 years. Ron worked in sales at various businesses and lastly at Rapids Ford, Lincoln, Mercury in Wisconsin Rapids until he retired. He had a passion for hunting, spending time with his sons and grandchildren and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, and their children, Mark (Annie) Eckes and Dawn (Charlie) Schneider, all of Marshfield. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Jenna (Kurt) Vandenhauvel, Amanda Eckes, Charlie Schneider, Willie Schneider, Kaila Eckes, Desiree Eckes, Karly Eckes, Scott Eckes and Allie Eckes, and a great granddaughter. He is further survived by 2 sisters and a brother, Elaine Hubatch of California, Ken (Rose) Eckes of Weyerhaeuser, WI and Donna (Jerry) Welch of Marshfield, and a sister-in-law, Sandy Eckes of Rice Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Tim and Scott Eckes, a brother, Arnie Eckes and a sister, Celia Koeberl. The family will designate a memorial in Ron’s name at a later date. Loren H. ZiemerLoren Henry Ziemer Loren Henry Ziemer, 94, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Care Partners Assisted Living, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Junction City, Wisconsin, with visitation one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Kasson, Minnesota. Martens/Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City is in charge of the arrangements. Loren Henry Ziemer was born June 15, 1918 to Ellsworth G. and Lottie Alivina (Dreke) Ziemer in Lake Freemont Township, Martin, Minnesota. He was the eldest of five children. He was raised at his parents' farm, attended school, was a loyal church member of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed playing baseball. Loren married Leona Allen. They farmed close to Dunnell, Minnesota. To this union, one child, Marcia, was born. They later divorced. He later married Ada and they moved to Kasson, Minnesota where they farmed for many years. Ada passed away on December 22, 1979. He later married June and moved to Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He purchased the Cedar Inn, which they operated until June's death. Survivors include daughter Marcia (Jack) Huff, Weatherby, MO; granchildren: Lori (Joe) Wille, Williams, IA, Jeff (Janet) Stotser, Kingman, AZ, and granddaugher-in-law Cheryl (Danny) Butler, Iowa Falls, IA; seven great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; one brother, Martin (Lois) Ziemer, Dunnell, MN; one sister, Myra Schmidtke, Walker, MN; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Helen S. LeerHelen S. Leer 92 of Marshfield died on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Marshfield Care Center, surrounded by family where she has been a resident for the past 4 years. Helen was born on July 1, 1920 in Devils Lake, ND to Randall and Julia (Nermoe) Kjelbertson. She graduated from Devils Lake Central High School in 1938. She attended North Dakota State University from 1939-1941. She was united in marriage to Arnold "Arne" E. Leer on February 25, 1944 in Devils Lake, ND. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1989. The Leer’s owned and operated “Our Own Hardware” store for 35 years in Devils Lake, ND. Following the death of Arne, Helen moved to Fargo and resided there until 2005. She then settled in Marshfield, WI Helen enjoyed sewing, playing cards and had a strong passion for painting. Some of her greatest joys came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen is survived by two children, Richard A. (Marika) Leer, MD and Lori Fox both of Marshfield; four grandchildren, Rana (Jeff) Haupt of Madison, Erika (Matt) Gearhart of Charlottesville, VA, Kira (Josh) Larsen of Marshfield and Thomas (Andrea) Fox of Big Lake, MN; eight great grandchildren, Gabrielle "Ellie" and Nina Haupt, Ryer and Wyatt Gearhart, Gavin and Lilah Larsen and Adelyn and Rier Fox. She is further survived by one brother Everett (Diane) Kjelbertson of Naytahwaush, MN. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Louise Leer, son Arne in infancy, brother Randall Kjelbertson, Jr and two sisters Evelyn in infancy and Arlyce Milburn. Florence T. WeberFlorence Theresa (Schueller) Weber, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, Marshfield, where she had been a resident for the past several years. Private family services were held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine. Florence, born on October 13, 1917, was the third of five children born to Nicholas and Anna (Kaiser) Schueller who farmed and logged near the wilderness Minnesota community of Strandquist. In 1928 the family moved by train from Minnesota to Marshfield in search of a better life and to rejoin relatives living in the area. In her youth Florence attended St. John’s Parochial School and often found work cooking and housekeeping area homes. Later on she took employment sewing footwear at Weinbrenner Shoe Company, for whom she continued to work off and on throughout her life until retirement in 1981. On January 29, 1942 Florence married Willard Jerome Weber of Stratford at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. The couple lived in the Stratford area raising their 2 sons, Robert and Gregory, until their divorce in 1970. Florence then returned to Marshfield where she lived until her passing. Growing up in the depression era gave Florence an appreciation for simple pleasures. Some of her most enjoyable moments were visiting a town’s summer festival, going to a polka dance, playing and singing along to a self taught song on her keyboard, reworking an old blouse to look new and the companionship of a cherished pet. Surviving Florence are her sons, Robert of Marshfield and Gregory of Stratford, daughter-in-law, Carol (Theisen) Weber of Stratford, 2 grandchildren, Shawn Weber of Milwaukee, Erin (Paul) Crowley of Oshkosh and 2 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Arthur Schueller of Marshfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings, Catherine Schueller, Rose Brandl and Lucille Junemann. Joy Haske BigelowJoy Haske Bigelow, 59 of Chili, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Salisbury, NC after a courageous 6 year battle with breast cancer. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Marshfield. Rev. Jon Guenther will officiate and Lynda Oemig will be the organist for the service. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Richfield,Wood County. The visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and again from 12:00 until time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church. Joy was born on December 29, 1953 in Fond du Lac, WI to Roger and Bernice (Rank) Haske, both deceased. She graduated from Marshfield High School class of 1972. She was united in marriage to Art Bigelow on October 27, 1973 in Marshfield, WI. Her greatest joys were being surrounded by her family and friends, traveling, gardening and a great love for NASCAR. Joy is survived by her husband, Art, two children, son Toby (Rebecca) Bigelow and daughter Stacy Bigelow who both reside in North Carolina and two grandsons, Wyatt and Trace Bigelow. Terri WurscherTerri Wurscher, 59 of Spencer, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the House of The Dove in Marshfield, WI. Terri was born in Redwood Falls, MN, on November 3, 1953, and her family moved to the Litchfield area in 1970. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 1977. She lived in Minneapolis and St. Louis Park, MN, for over 30 years. Terri was a senior healthcare professional with extensive experience in finance and strong experience in reimbursement, business management, insurance, coding and overall financial operations. She enjoyed traveling, reading, lawn work, and debate. She had a keen wit. She was recruited to Marshfield Clinic in 2009 and settled in Spencer, hired as Manager of Commercial Work Variance at Marshfield Clinic, accomplished specific financial goals and then in February 2011 was assigned two additional departments (Government Work Variance and Claims Processing). In August of 2011 Terri accepted the position of Department Manager II, Ophthalmology and Optometry, and the Clinic Optical areas. Prior to relocation, Terri was employed by North Clinic in Robbinsdale, MN, where she managed the business office and the GI department. Terri also managed the business office of Cardiovascular Consultants, the cardiology group located within North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, a Level I Trauma Center. She established a coding and reimbursement group involving all major practices from the Twin Cities, Duluth, Rochester and St. Cloud. During this same time, she was asked by North Memorial to establish a cardiovascular surgery practice at North Memorial from front to back for newly hired cardiovascular surgeons. Terri accepted the task and thus reported to hospital officials as well as the cardiology group. Terri managed the business office at Orthopedic Consultants, where she handled accounts receivables and credit balances, visited remote sites, and wrote “Dear Colleague” letters sent to all orthopods in Minnesota. During this time, she also served as the Coding Consultant to the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology, answering physician/staff questions and writing a column for the newsletter. She maintained that role for 10 years. Terri began her career as a Supervisor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota and was promoted to Manager. She turned chaos into order and gained the respect of physicians and ophthalmology employees, as well as other medical school staff. She presented Medicare teaching physician rules to all departments at the University. Terri set up two separate Grand Rounds sessions for presentations by the Medical Director of Medicare, advised residents and fellows, set up practice for a neuro-ophthalmology fellow, and supervised the volunteers. She is survived by her sister Kim (Doug) Mortenson of Litchfield, MN and their children, Jason, Brandon and Bridget; her nieces Kristin ( J. Olvera) of Mexico; Jessica (John) Perez of Albuquerque, NM and their children, Courtney, Caity, Nathan, Aaron and Ethan; Melissa Wurscher Smith of Bellevue, NE and her children, Jasmine and Alonna. She was preceded in death by her father, John William Wurscher (5/24/85), her mother, Nadine Frances Wurscher (4/4/97), and her brother, David Lynn Wurscher (6/19/02 ). Gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 2-5pm at Rembs Funeral Home 300 South Oak Avenue, Marshfield, WI. Harry Follen, Jr.Harry Follen, Jr, 90 of Vesper passed away peacefully on Friday evening, February 15, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. Harry was born on July 23, 1922 to Harry and Grace (Hopp) Follen in Arpin township. He was one of seven children. He was united in marriage to Lorraine E. Winegarden on December 8, 1943 in Arpin. They were married for 69 years. He and Lorraine farmed in the township of Arpin and when Harry was 50 they moved to Vesper. He worked at various occupations and enjoyed working in his workshop where he made crafts for family, friends and church. Harry and Lorraine enjoyed their home in Vesper and traveling throughout the United States. Harry is survived by his wife, Lorraine, children, Philip (Donita) Follen of Neillsville, Terry (Judy Kind) Follen of Minneapolis, and Douglas (Noelle) Follen also of Minneapolis. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, Dawn, Sean, Carmen, AmyLiz, Tracy, Joel, Jeff, Christi, Lauren and Jeff, 27 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald, Gerald and Maynard Follen and 3 sisters, Janice Fisher, Naomi Ter Maat and Ruth Fisher. Dustin W. AllenDustin W. Allen, 30, passed away at his home in Marshfield on Saturday, February 16, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 pm until service time. Dustin was born on February 20, 1982 in Clinton, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Tabetha Allen; son Shelby Shawn Michael Allen, 6 and daughter Shyla Christine Joanne Allen, 3; 3 brothers, Shawn Allen and wife Kerie, Christopher Allen and Mathew Allen, all of Fayetteville, AR; and parents, Randy Allen of Rogers, AR and Chris Allen of Fayetteville. Although Dustin battled personal demons most of his life, he was always there for a friend in need. He loved his children more than anything – they were his pride and joy. He was also very proud of his brothers, all of whom are employed by the City of Fayetteville. Dustin was known for his sense of humor and could get a rise from just about anyone with his strong political views. Although he grew up in Fayetteville, he moved to Marshfield last year to be near his children, who adored his fun-loving ways. He and Shelby often played video games together, while Dustin was in the process of honoring his daughter’s request to help her “look like a princess” by practicing fixing her hair. When he mastered her pigtails, he was very proud. Although he never was formally trained, Dustin was a natural with electronics, possessing an uncanny ability to perform tasks ranging from repairing car stereo systems to rebuilding computers. Leona M. FaberLeona M. Faber, 86 of Marshfield died as a result of an automobile accident on Wednesday afternoon, February 20, 2013 south of Marshfield. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Krueger officiating. Burial will take place in West Spencer Cemetery, town of Sherman, Clark County with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitations will be on Monday at Rembs Funeral Home from 9:30am until time of services. Leona was born on July 12, 1926 in Woodstock, IL to Walter and Elsie (Meusling) Gehrke. She was united in marriage to Joseph Faber March 1944 in Woodstock, IL. He died in December 1989. They farmed in Alden, IL until 1957 when they moved to Loyal where they farmed until their son Joseph took over the farm in 1966. Joe and Leona moved to Spencer where she worked for Land O’ Lakes Cheese for 20 years. They enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. She always took care of friends and neighbors who were in need. She enjoyed bingo, spending time at family functions and casino trips with family and friends. Leona is survived by two children, Joseph (Jean) Faber and Barb (Larry) Noeldner both of Marshfield; 13 grandchildren, Tammy (Kurt) Heil, Sandra (Gerard) Leonard, Robert (Tracy) Faber, Edward (Tracy) Faber, Steven (Jessie) Faber, Mike (Michele) Noeldner, Sheri Noeldner Sheda, Dana (Scott) Bores, Renee (Melvin) Yoder, John (Stacy Carolfi) Noeldner, Troy Noeldner, Donnie and Nichole. She is further survived by 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sister-in-law Lillian Gehrke of Crystal Lake, IL and a special niece Sharon, “her little flower”. Barbara M. DavidBarbara Marie David, 77, Marshfield, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Emergency Room of Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, the result of cardiac arrest. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 am until service time. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Barbara was born on March 3, 1935 in Wisconsin Rapids to Stanley and Olga (Bissig) Stark. She attended Saints Peter and Paul Parochial School and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, both in Wisconsin Rapids. In 1956 she graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, Marshfield. She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the American Nurses Association, Wisconsin Nurses Association and the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses. Barbara held ANCC Certification as a Medical-Surgical Nurse from 1990-2005. Barbara and Russell Paul David were married on January 19, 1957 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2007. Barbara is survived by her husband Russ and their sons, John Paul David (Gabriela Soberanis) of Appleton and Dennis (Theresa) David and their children, Hannah, Arran, and James of Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David (Jane) Stark. Memorials may be designated in Barbara’s name to St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association or the Foundation of St. Joseph’s Hospital. Family will receive relative and friends from 2pm until time of services and following the service. Diane was born on March 16, 1938 in Auburndale to Norbert and Viola Kolbeck. She was a 1956 graduate of Columbus High School in Marshfield. She was employed by the Marshfield Clinic in the business office. Diane is survived by her husband Duane, two daughters Jeanine Parkerson and Jennifer (Steve) Jacobson, and a step son Randal Tewksbury. She is further survived by a brother Duane (Sharon) Kolbeck and a sister Dorene (Harry Wiget) Dieringer and former husband Alan Meyer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson Craig Tewksbury and a son-in-law John Roberts. The family thanks the nursing staff at Three Oaks and the in home care givers, Senior Services of Marshfield for their loving care and support they gave Diane and family. Edgar A. KaiserBlanche Melski, 94, Marshfield, died on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Bethel Center, Arpin. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a day to be determined at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Lyndhurst, NJ. Burial will take place In Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Blanche was born on March 16, 1918 in Jersey City, NJ, to Joseph and Pauline Moszczynski. She married William E. Melski in June of 1942 in Bayonne, NJ. She lived in New Milford, NJ most of her life and came to Marshfield in June of 2003. Blanche was a very fine seamstress and knitter and a devoted Catholic. She is survived by her children, twin daughters, Christine (James) Gebauer of Frenchtown, NJ and Jean (Ed) Pickave of Brownstown, PA and a son, John (Linda) Melski, M.D. of Marshfield. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, David (Amy Gale) Melski, Katherine (Jeramy) Kruser, Eric (Tanya Gallagher) Melski and their daughter, Audrey; and Thomas Gabauer. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters, Mary Zaorski, Frances Mueller and 2 brothers, Anthony Moszczynski, and Edward Moszczynski.
